Centrinės Amerikos ir Karibų jūros šalių sporto organizacija reguliariai rengia Centrinės Amerikos ir Karibų jūros šalių žaidynes, plėtoja ryšius tarp šio regiono ir visos Amerikos žemyno sportininkų, glaudžiai bendradarbiauja su TOK ir tarptautinėmis sporto federacijomis. Oficialioji kalba – ispanų. Būstinė – Karakase (Venesuela).
